Yesterday saw a 'total warrior' of a day in Leeds Brahms park. Myself and 11 superstars jumped walls, dodged fire, took an ice bath and got electrocuted to name but a few, in a gruelling 12k race through Death Valley in order to be crowned warriors and smash yet another goal for 2015.
My superstars were fantastic and each and everyone of them completed the event in under 3 hours with the quickest time being 1 hour 45 minutes.
Their motivation and determination over the months in sessions and at running club combined with their clean eating definitely contributed to their performance on the day.
Take a look at the pictures...
Let's not forget Tracey and graham who too took on the challenge on Saturday in that stifling heat, completing the event within 2 and a half hours and raising a lot of money for charity.
Each one of these superstars should be extremely happy with this achievement and proud of how far they have come, I certainly am. All their hard work has paid off and I can't wait to see them sporting their new t-shirts at camp 🙂
Events are not everyones cup of tea as everyone has their own individual goals and targets. However All-star academy is here to help and support people on their journey to changing their lives and get through tough events such as these. It's this that makes my job so worthwhile because nothing is impossible, with the right attitude and drive we can all achieve anything we want in life!
